Quantum computing is a fascinating area and a fantastic business case to study how a future technological breakthrough could be a game changer in the fight against climate change. Quantum algorithms are exponentially more efficient than classic algorithms to solve a large number of very important problems such as integer factorization, monte-carlo or even simulating complex chemical molecules. This last one is particularly promising for the decarbonation of agriculture as it could allow the discovery of a much less energy consuming production process of nitrogen fertilizers.
